I feel on top of the world today, my sword is sharp and I am ready to do battle with every and anything. I have a lovely weekend coming up where absolutely nothing is booked. I might motor up to London tomorrow with the Lady friend, I might not. I may go for a long walk on Sunday, I may not. The nicest thing about it is the freedom to choose, plus I've just been paid so that takes the sting out of it all. I want to pop up to old Camden town and throw money at my shoe problem. It would be better to go on a Friday and avoid the grinning Japanese and avoid the congestion charge before it comes in. I don't fancy public transport, I really don't. I went through a stage in my life where I avoided going to the cinema, I couldn't stop thinking of the all the hot germs, it became so intrusive that I lost the thread of the films. Yuk, it makes you think though, everytime you breathe you are breathing in the air of several hundred people. Develop a taste for an obscure director and then you'll get a small house and perhaps a better class of oxygen.
